Kyle Busch is out to prove his naysayers wrong. I’m sure we will hear about the new and more mature Rowdy about hundred times, but let’s hope for his sake Rowdy is less rowdy this year. In my opinion, the younger Busch is the most talented driver in the Series, it’s just a matter of time before he wins Championships.
Bristol, Richmond, California and Kentucky are all places you should Kyle in your lineup. When Busch gets hot it really won’t matter what track he goes to.
There’s not a place on the NASCAR Circuit that Busch really struggles at, but Pocono has been an achilles heel until recently. I’d also let JGR prove to me their engines woes are behind them before I used them on an engine track.
Jeff Gordon’s best shot at his fifth Championship was last year. Gordon is a lock to be a Hall of Famer, but he’s on the downside of his fabulous career.
There’s still several tracks where Jeff is as good as anybody at. Those tracks are; Martinsville, Darlington, and Indianapolis. The No. 24 team can win anywhere, but Charlotte and Texas has been a struggle.
Brad Keselowski is now an A driver and that means he is basically useless to us. I love Brad’s fire and competitiveness, but there’s just too much fire power in the A list to use him much.
If I use Keselowski it will be at Dover, Bristol or Kentucky. I’d consider those his best tracks. Who knows, maybe he has another long hot streak in him like last year’s streak.
To sum it up, you shouldn’t save drivers in the A list. Run who ever is hot and let the chips fall where they may. The only one I would even consider saving would be Jimmie Johnson.
