PayTheFan.Com is a fairly new website and has an interesting fantasy NASCAR game that focuses on the Chase for the Cup. The format is similar to Yahoo Fantasy NASCAR in that they break down all of the drivers into A List, B List and C List drivers. But unlike Yahoo, you can only use each A List driver once, each B List driver twice, and have unlimited starts with C List drivers. Because this game is for the Chase only, the groupings of drivers are set based on how well they’ve run so far this year. As a result, there are some major differences compared to Yahoo’s grouping of drivers. For example, Kyle Busch and Dale Jr. are in the A List and Kurt Busch and Brian Vickers are in the B List. PayTheFan.Com’s Chase for the PTF Cup also allows you to see practice speeds and qualifying before you have to lock in your drivers, so you get some good information before you need to select your active rosters.
The game costs $29.95 and players who do well are eligible to win prizes. I’m currently signed up and have created a public league for FantasyNascarPreview.Com.
