Top 10 cars are; 48, 42, 17, 11, 31, 24, 9, 99, 39, 5. B list sleepers a plenty this week with 20, 83, 00, 88, 47, 55 and 1 all look good. I’d rank the C list 43, 82, 98, 78, and 77. You could argue that AJ is a top 10 car by lap times.
Hendrick looks really good and wouldn’t be shocked if all 4 finish top 10 with Jimmie winning. Can Junebug finish is the question though. Mark Martin wasn’t happy with his car in happy hour but lap times were pretty good.
Roush was led by Kenseth who should challenge for the win, with Edwards and Biffle not far behind.
Juan Pablo Montoya is really fast this week and a top 5 car. His teammate Jamie McMurray is fast also but i don’t expect him to finish well.
Gibbs cars look pretty good except Kyle Busch has struggled all weekend long. Hamlin looks like a top 5 car with Logano a potential top 10 car. Will the inexperience of Joey catch up to him?
Stewart Haas Racing looks decent. Tony starts up front but i just have him outside my top 10. Newman looks stronger and will probably start for me but i worry about him starting midpack. We all know that he struggles to come through the field even when he has a good car.
RCR has both good cars and bad cars. Burton leads the way and i expect a top 10 atleast. Harvick improved late and just missed top 10. Bowyer on the other hand is junk and struggled all weekend.
Kasey Kahne is happy with the car and that should translate into a top 10. Paul Menard while not high on speed chart has a decent piece. Menard could finish top 20 with his good starting spot.
Michael Waltrip Racing looks to be the sleepers of the B list. Truex and Ruetimann both could challenge for a top 10.
I’m picking Jimmie Johnson to get his first Bristol win, with Montoya and Kenseth close behind. My team will more than likely be 11, 39, 17, 43 over 18, 33, 29, 82.
Good luck FNPers!!!
