4. Kevin Harvick (8)
Harvick struggled at Bristol last season, but I’m willing to bet that
was more due to RCR’s struggles as whole and not Harvick’s ability to
run well in Thunder Valley. Considering my other three B List drivers
are considered “sleepers”, I want to get one big gun in there just in
case my plan to save starts backfires.
C List
1. A.J. Allmendinger (9)
After getting off to a slow start this season, Allmendinger showed
signs of life with a 6th place finish at Atlanta two weeks ago. The
Dinger posted a solid 16th at Bristol one year ago and hopefully
momentum from Atlanta will carry over into another good finish this
week for A.J.
2. Scott Speed (9)
Speed had a great run at Bristol in August, qualifying third and
finishing 15th. I don’t expect Speed to earn us qualifying points this
week, but a Top 20 finish is certainly possible.
