Practice Breakdown, Charlotte II

A list ranks-  18, 16, 11, 99, 5, 48,14, 24, 2, 42

Really like the Gibbs cars this week, all 3. Biffle is bad fast like noted in the forum.

Carl is the class of the Roush bunch.

Jimmie looks just ok to me. So i’ll likely go with Stewart who doesn’t look any better but i’ll save my 48 starts for Martinsville and Phoenix.

Mark Martin is really fast and probably deserves to be ranked higher.

B  list ranks- 31, 20, 29, 17, 9, 39, 00, 56, 33, 1, 19, 88

Burton should be really good on long runs. Best of RCR.

Joey Logano is  a lock for me as this is one of his best tracks.

Not one of Kevin Harvick’s best tracks but his goal of a top 10 is attainable.

Matt Kenseth didn’t impress me much but he rarely does and this is a Matt Kenseth type track as long as he doesn’t blow up again.

Ryan Newman and Kasey Kahne are also good sleeper option and i’m saying one finishes top 10.

MWR cars are pretty good and should excel on long runs but are risky picks.

C list ranks- 43, 98, 78, 82, 83, 21, 77

AJ is a top 10 car going in. Menard is right behind him.

Regan Smith should be good for a top 20.

Red Bull looks much better but durability and consistency are the reason they are ranked behind Smith.

Elliot will give you a safe top 25.

My pick to win is Kyle Busch

B list sleeper 20, 9, 39

I’ll post my teams in the forum and tune in for the chat Saturday for all your NASCAR questions.

Good luck FNPers!!!
